Inspiration to fast track your future
14th-18th November 2016
Inspiration Week will encourage teenagers studying their GCSEs to carefully consider their A Level options ahead of making their final choices.
Five dedicated days of activity will inform teenagers about the positive impact of studying Maths and Physics on their future, and ultimately inspire them to go on to take these subjects at A Level.
Your Life will engage record numbers of teenagers by maximising the three main elements of Inspiration Week.
Inspiration Week Live – 15th and 17th November
Two live events that will see us chat to hundreds of students directly through an online platform. We will connect students with a range of inspirational people with fascinating roles or interesting backgrounds in STEM who will be able to tell them first-hand about the variety of careers Maths and Physics qualifications can lead to.
Your Life works with innovative and dynamic companies who help us to inspire students by opening up their doors to offer a memorable money can’t buy experience to highlight the wealth of careers available to those with Maths and Science skills.
An exciting new initiative that offers in-school workshops that give students a unique insight into the real world applications of Maths and Physics in careers. The workshops help to address the barriers to A Level uptake. Three different themed workshops ask students working in teams to challenge themselves to a career in film production, games design or space exploration.
Look out for a series of influential videos each day designed to inspire. There will be new videos from some of our favourite strands featuring inspirational scientific figures from history, role models of today and some of the exciting new jobs of the future.
Your Life will be leading the conversation on social media – join in and be inspired.
